ADE provides valuation appraisals for bankruptcies, IRS donations, and divorce and estate settlements as well as for insurance claim dispute issues involving total loss replacements, diminished value as well as pre-insurance valuations for custom/exotics and collectible vehicles. Inspection/assessment services are also provided for pre-repair and post collision repair, lease turn-ins, pre-purchase/pre-sale inspections and others. Our appraisers are certified and adhere to professional standards and best practices.

In the past, various insurer claims and loss adjustment departments retained the services of appraisal/adjuster firms which were referred to as “independent” contractors. However, most of these so-called “independents” oftentimes declined to provide their services to the individual consumer in fear of losing business from those who supplied the major portion of their business income, the insurers. These fears inhibited the “independents” from providing unbiased and equitable services to all parties.
Conversely, most Diminished Value Assessment service providers do not include insurers in their customer mix. This creates an unavoidable bias of which affects the credibility of their work product and delays in achieving an amicable and equitable settlement.
