About Us

G. Keith Still is the Professor of Crowd Science at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) and a visiting Professor at Bucks New University. He has lectured at the UK Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College (EPC) since 1999 and developed the EPC’s Crowd Dynamics and Crowd Science materials and workshops as well as contributing to several other safety-related courses. His mathematical, human behaviour modelling and simulation tools led to the development of a systematic blueprint for the crowd safety industry. He has developed educational workshops teaching the theory and applications of crowd science, applied it to major events around the world. He has testified at the Senate House Committee on evacuation during terrorist incidents and has been an expert witness for a number of cases (personal injury and mass fatalities) in UK, Europe and USA.

Crowd Risk Analysis Ltd

G. Keith Still is the Professor of Crowd Science at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) developing MSc programmes in crowd risk analysis and crowd safety and a visiting Professor at Bucks New University delivering modules on Crowd Science at Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) courses. Keith develops and teaches a wide range of crowd risk analysis and crowd safety courses for event organisers, police, first responders, emergency planners, city authorities, building control and licensing officers. His courses have run at the UK Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College, Universities and client sites around the world since 1999.
