Alan Lipschultz is President of HealthCare Technology Consulting based out of North Bethesda Maryland. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE), Certified in Clinical Engineering (CCE), a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and a Certified Professional in Patient Safety CPPS). From 1989 to 2011 Alan was the Director of Clinical Engineering at Christiana Care Health Services in Delaware. He received his Master’s Degree in Health Care Technology from Washington University, St. Louis in 1973. In the 3.5 years he has been consulting, Alan has done considerable work as an expert witness on a variety of legal cases involving medical devices.
