*Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical Formulation Scientist with over 15 years of experience developing tablet and capsule products, chewable and fast dissolving tablets (ODTs), coated tablets and beads (i.e., controlled release and taste-masked). Also experienced in developing nutraceutical soft chews and tablets.
*Developed nutraceutical, sugarless fiber soft chews for diabetics which were licensed to Bristol Myers Squibb and commercialized nationwide in 2003.
*Expertise in various manufacturing unit operations: wet granulation (fluid bed, high shear, foam, MADG), coating, and encapsulation.
*5 years experience providing scientific assessment of IP for early stage research (chemistry, materials science, pharmaceuticals (drugs, combination products, medical device, biological products).
*Published 58 articles in the food, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical arenas. Published 5 articles on nutraceuticals and 10 articles on pharmaceutical topics.
