Animal protection professional at the Marin Humane Society (Marin County, California) from 1976 to 1996, including 10 years as Director of Operations, 15 years as Humane Officer/Animal Control Officer, with numerous court appearances during that time, including successful investigation of several neglect and cruelty cases and dangerous dog cases. Was instrumental in passing and enforcement of Marin County's (California) Dangerous Dog Law, which become the model for the Sate of California's Dangerous Dog Law.
