• Senior Claims Adjuster (Tampa Bay area) Florida licensed (6-21) with Progressive Insurance Company, a nationally recognized auto insurance carrier (5 years). 1979 thru 1984
• Managed collision/cosmetic repair facilities at two regional General Motors dealerships (3 years collectively). Bayview Buick and Golden Oldsmobile, Port Richey, FL 1985-1988
• National Sales Manager and Installations Manager for Custom Cable Industries (CCI), an internationally recognized innovative data connectivity manufacturer-network installer (3 years). 1989 thru 1992

In the past, various insurer claims and loss adjustment departments retained the services of appraisal/adjuster firms which were referred to as “independent” contractors. However, most of these so-called “independents” oftentimes declined to provide their services to the individual consumer in fear of losing business from those who supplied the major portion of their business income, the insurers. These fears inhibited the “independents” from providing unbiased and equitable services to all parties.
Conversely, most Diminished Value Assessment service providers do not include insurers in their customer mix. This creates an unavoidable bias of which affects the credibility of their work product and delays in achieving an amicable and equitable settlement.
