Tylar is an expert in the installation, commissioning and inspection of electrical systems, and investigation of electrical incidents, faults and equipment failure.
He is currently an Electrical Supervisor and Senior Electrician with Kroft Electrical & Engineering Pty Ltd. In that Within this role, he manages all electrical works and team members and handles electrical inspection as electrical installation advisor. He also provides quote analysis, costing, quality assurance, and supplier management and purchasing.
For two years, he provided onsite QA/QC inspections as senior electrician at Downer EDI Engineering. He held foreman roles while senior QA/QC foreman was on RnR cycle and was involved in the Iron Ore Crusher Conveyor and Train Load Out System: Ore Body 24 (FAST & BHP).
In his capacity as QA/QC inspector at Downer EDI, he handled technical queries, redlining and field quality control. Significant project was Iron Ore Processing Plant Construction / Commissioning for Karara Mining Limited (HV + LV).
In addition, he was contracted as Chief Electrical and Instrumentation Draftsman for Clough Downer JV's LNG project. For three months, he was involved in the Fairview Hub 5 LNG Project QLD (Fluor & SANTOS) where he provided red line drawing updates via construction and complied with SANTOS drawing procedures.
On behalf of IES Group, he performed QA/QC inspections and electrical commissioning for various projects, significantly the Muja Power Station Equipment room upgrade for re-commissioning of units 1-4 of redundant power station, terminations of I/O for Siemens, and commissioning of I/O and Power and Instruments.
He also worked at Watters Electrical Pty Ltd, Victoria, primarily on commission projects and installations and on call break down maintenance. His A significant project s at Watters were was an 8-month project with Goulburn Valley Water adjusting existing switchboards schematic diagrams and the management of electricians to mark up drawings from existing switchboards.
Before that, he was an electrician at Watters Electrical where he handled complex problems and viable solutions and managed safety requirements for JSA development for six years.
Tylar is a member of the Forensic Engineering Society of Australia (FESA) and the Institute of Electrical Inspectors (IEI).
