Wrongful Death
We will demonstrate officers training, operational procedures, and law enforcement officer requirements in handling persons both in and out of custody. We will compare what was required to be done as opposed to what was done.
Wrongful Shooting/Misuse of Firearms
Based on experiences as a Police Academy Firearms Instructor, we will demonstrate what police officers are trained to do as opposed to what actually occurred during the misuse of a firearm or were appropriate in their application.
Excessive Use of Force
Based upon years of on-the-street experience, we will demonstrate the statutory requirements regarding the use of force, the concept of ‘reasonable force,’ self defense uses, restraint uses and uses to facilitate searches. We will demonstrate the police training process for use of force situations.
Arrest, Search and Seizure
Based upon years of experience making both warrant-less arrests, arrests, searches and seizures pursuant to judicial warrants, we will demonstrate police mandates for probable cause, for the need to corroborate information and for the need to establish exigent circumstances. We will demonstrate the police standards for complying with the Fourth Amendment and the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Wrongful Imprisonment
We will demonstrate the appropriate procedures as taught police officers in effecting a lawful incarceration. We then audit the actual events of the imprisonment and compare the events to what is mandated policy and procedure for law enforcement operations.

Based upon Internal Security and Office of Professional Responsibility experiences investigating police misconduct at the county and federal law enforcement levels, we will demonstrate the difference between what police are trained to do and how the training is dismissed by actions of the officer or were appropriate in their application.

We will demonstrate the police training received and mandated for Civil Rights law enforcement. We then compare the events of the incident to training received by law enforcement officers and identify the appropriate or inappropriate police actions.
